The green dragon in your southeast

Those whose wealth luck is important to them should always strive to energize the auspicious good fortune signified by the celestial dragon. Place nine dragons on the east side of your office, business, or home to activate dragon magic. Dragons that come with the symbolic pearl represent wealth. Get hold of these or, alternatively, get a painting with two dragons chasing the pearl. Do not place the dragon/phoenix pairing in the east. Such a pairing is not suitable here; it signifies love rather than wealth.

Differentiate between the five- clawed and the four-clawed dragons. Both kinds of dragon are suitable but it is worth noting that the five-clawed dragons signify the Imperial dynasty and the four- clawed dragons are for commoners. In ancient times, only emperors were allowed to display the five-clawed dragon.

In terms of numbers of dragons to display, the number nine represents the fullness of heaven.

It is also the only independent number and it has the power to magnify and multiply all types of luck — both bad and good. Since the dragon always brings good luck, having nine dragons strongly magnifies this good luck. In the Forbidden City and in Hong Kong on the waterfront a nine-dragon screen is displayed to attract good fortune. Kowloon, the prosperous hinterland of Hong Kong, is the place of the nine dragons.

Businesses that have the dragon as their logos usually enjoy great long-term success. But the dragon, like other good fortune symbols, must be represented correctly.Your dragon should not look hungry; it be fat, healthy, and well fed. Dragons must also never be held captive.They must be able to fly up to the sky, so placing circles around them is not a good idea. Displaying dragons inside locked cabinets will simply cause your projects to fail.

Let your southeast wall be lush with green plants

This advice is also appropriate for the entire east part of your home, your office, and your garden.Your plants should overflow into thesoutheast as well because this is the part of your living and work space that signifies growth in income. The southeast is also the corner of wealth. Both of these sectors are wood sectors in the Five Element principle of Feng Shui.Thus, energizing with lush, healthy plants stimulates this element and attracts wonderful wealth energies into your work and living spaces. Make sure that the plants are well-cared for and trim them regularly so that dried and decaying leaves are never seen, otherwise this will bring your business bad luck.

A waterfall to bring wealth to your doorstep

Another excellent and serious wealth energizer is a small, manmade waterfall placed within 10 to 15 feet (3-4.5m) of your front door. You can do this in the office, factory, or home, but there are three main things to note:

1. Make sure that your waterfall is not too large in proportion to the size of your building, your door, and your garden. It is better for it to be too small than too big. Whatever the size of the waterfall, the sound of water should be gentle rather than rushing.
2. Make sure that the water appears to be flowing toward your entrance and that it is forming a pond in full view of the door. Water that isflowing away signifies money flowing out.
3. Make sure there is life in the pond, perhaps terrapins or fish. All the better if you put auspicious fish in your pond.
4. Make sure that the front door is located in the east, southeast, or north sector of the house. If it is located in any of the other sectors this option is not for you unless you have extremely favorable flying stars. If you do net know how to work out and interpret the flying stars, it is best to ensure that your _aldoor is in the right sector.
5. Landscape the waterfall in such way that there are no hostile arrangements of rocks pointed at your door. Use nicely rounded rocks with smooth edges.Do not place the waterfalldirectly in front of or to the right of the door. The only place suitable ison the left-hand side of the door. This direction is taken from the Ale of the house or building, looking outward.

Bury nine coins inyour pathway

This is a wealth Feng Shui tip that was given to me by a Hong Kong hog Shui master. The idea is either bury nine coins, or to simulate nine oins in the form of stepping stones leading from the gate to the hoot entrance of the office or house. This arrangement represents nine emperor coins, and thecombination of round and square apes in the coins also signifies the unity of heaven and earth. Laying a stepping-stone path like this makes a very auspicious garden feature, which is excellent for improvingyour wealth.

Place a “mountain” behind your chair

Everyone engaged in business or in politics should make sure that they have a “mountain” behind their chair in their office. This can be a painting or a picture of a famous mountain. I like Mount Everest, but some masters have told me that this is too fiery a mountain shape. Nevertheless, I still like it. It is purely a personal thing.

It is important to ensure that your picture of a mountain has no water in it, for example, it should not contain any of the streams or waterfalls that appear in so many Chinese paintings. Water behind you signifies lost opportunities and this can create serious bad luck for those in business.

Place your “bank” behind your chair

A variation of the mountain theme is to place a “bank” behind your chair at work.. Try to get a photograph of your bank’s head office but make sure that the picture has not been taken with its edges pointing directly outward, this will cause poison arrows to shoot out at you. You want the bank to support you symbolically, not hurt you. This is a very good tip for those running their own businesses.

Stick lucky coins to your order and invoice books

Probably one of the best Feng Shui tips for increasing your sales and turnover in business is to stick three Chinese coins onto all your invoice books and your order books. Dothe same with the important files and cabinets in the office. Remember that all coins have to be energized by tying a red thread or ribbon to the coins. There is no special way to tie up the coins; as long as the coins are tied so that the Yang side (the side with the four Chinese characters) is visible the coins will be auspicious.

Chinese coins with the square holes in the center are best and I personally prefer the old coins to the new ones, but both types are suitable. If you wish you may tie nine coins instead of three coins. Nine is a lucky and auspicious number. Other lucky numbers are six and eight. Seven is lucky for this period but this number becomes very unlucky from the year 2003 onward.
