    Once you know your career direction and have demarcated your floor area according to the Lo Shu square, there are several ways you can start to match your individual Chi energies with your environment.

    Your Kua number in the table offers you your most auspicious direction to face while you are working. This is for ensuring that you will be more than up to your job or profession. It also identifies the luckiest compass location for you to site your main doors, your office, your bedroom, and your study to ensure your working luck stays smooth, and that you do not succumb to the stresses and strains of working life. Incorporating this formula into your personal Feng Shui is also a very effective safeguard against losing out in any power struggle with colleagues at the office. People you work for will respect you, while those who report to you will stay loyal.

    The luck referred to here is best activated for each individual member of the family according to each person’s most suitable direction and location, as indicate in the Kua table.

    Perhaps the best way of capturing good career luck through the use of this method is to try to match all your most important doors according to your best career location and to try to work sitting directly facing your career direction. This means locating the important rooms and doors in the sector that are the luckiest for you. It also means that you should place your furniture in such a way that you are working and sleeping according to your luckiest career direction.Psychic Readings

    If your career direction is north, for instance, your main door, bedroom, or office should be located and oriented in this direction for good career luck. If your office is not located in the north sector of the building, the illustration at the top left-hand side of the page shows some features that will help the career of anyone whose auspicious direction is north.

    Irregular house and office layout shapes

    Offices seldom have regular, square or rectangular shapes, making it difficult in practice to superimpose a nine-sector grid onto floor layouts. More serious is the problem of missing corners. If your careercorner is missing, because of the shape of your home or, worse still, your office, your career luck could be seriously undermined. There areways of getting around this problem, and these are shown here, butaffecting the problem merely improves the situation. It does not create the good career luck you would want.

    The examples shown on this spread are floor areas that haveirregular layouts. The dotted line on the illustration opposite shows how the nine-sector grid is superimposed; by taking directions from the center, it will be possible to see whichcompass sector(s) are missing. According to Feng Shui, missing corners mean that the home or theoffice will be lacking in certain luck aspects. Which types of luck are missing depends on the corresponding compass directions of the missing sectors.

    If a missing sector represents your career direction, you can (with reference to the illustrations) partially correct the matter by either:

    • Installing a light, as shown in the illustration above.
    • Hang a wall mirror, as shown in the top right-handillustration.
    • Building an extension,see right.

    What you do depends on your circumstance and whether you have the available space. Having irregular shaped layouts sometimes makes it difficult for you to have your office or desk located in your best corner. If you cannot get the location, tapping the career direction is often good enough. This means that you work facing your best direction. If you cannot tap either the location or direction, try to make sure you work facing at least one of your three other auspicious directions.

    The working direction

    The working direction is one of the vital determinants of good career luck. Try to work sitting and facing your best personal direction for activating this aspect of your luck. It is a good idea to draw an arrow on your desk to remind you to face this direction when meeting people or when working on a particular project.
