Pisces women are old-fashioned ladies at heart, and don’t let them tell you any different. The odd one will attempt to put up the modern woman front, but she will turn to mush if you run around and open the car door for her. Treat her like she is the most precious and delicate flower you ever came across, and she will melt right there in front of you.

Keep the first date fairly formal. She loves to dress up and will be disappointed if she can’t really wow you with her make-up and her clothes. The less relaxed the better, as Pisces will prefer the opportunity to wear her masks.

She will probably be nervous so you might have to take the reins of the conversation for the first half-hour or so (this is not always true, some Pisces women come into their own in romance and will be quite aggressive in their flirting — but the man must always initiate it). A night at the theatre or the ballet and she will be in her element. A nice idea for a daytime date is ‘high tea’ at a posh hotel. It’s all marvellously civilised and a lot of fun. She‘ll love it.

Once things get a little more intimate, make any excuse to give her a foot massage. Pisceans completely bliss out as soon as you touch their feet.

With the Pisces male, let him play the macho man. He’s not, of course (underneath he’s as hard as marshmallow), but he loves to play the chivalrous male, at least until he can really relax with you. Let him open doors and buy you dinner and generally think he is the tough one. He needs to wear the mask society has taught him to wear as a little boy — because boys don’t cry. But before long, he will be writing you poetry, and getting clucky over pictures of baby animals, and bawling his eyes out with you when you’re sad.
