Pisces can allow themselves continually to be taken advantage of. They know it is happening, but believe the reward for being open-hearted and trusting is worth it. They can appear to be gullible, but this is not correct, as Pisces are never naïve (though they may like to pretend to be so as a defence). Pisces are rarely surprised by the depths to which humanity can sink, and can see most things coming from a mile off. But they just heave a big sigh and get on with it.

They have a great capacity to feel, and sometimes that can be quite overwhelming. Fellow water signs Cancer and Scorpio can protect their sensitivity with a hardened shell, even though they may be crying underneath. Pisces has no such defence. This is why some Pisces find relief from the world in drugs or escapist cults. We have now come through the entire zodiac. We could say that: Libras will tell you the truth that you want to hear; Scorpios will tell you the truth because that is what you need to hear; Sagittarians will tell you the truth inadvertently; Capricorn is the master of tact and discretion; Aquarians know the truth, so why wouldn’t you want to hear it? And then we come to Pisces, who are so tired of looking for the truth they suspect it doesn’t exist. And so we return to Aries, where we rejuvenate our energy and look at things afresh. The cycle begins anew.
