The Eagle and the Phoenix, Scorpio Connotations

Scorpio’s constellation is impressive in that it actually resemblances its sign, the Scorpio, whereas other constellations are obscure. Probably for this reason, the scorpion is often used to explain the concepts of Scorpio, with a sting in its tail. Scorpio also has two other symbols (it is the only sign with three), the eagle and the phoenix, and these have some interesting connotations.

All three signs are able to conquer their difficult environments with a combination of stealth and intelligence. The phoenix is the Greek name for a mythological bird offered in sacrifice to Ra, God of the Sun, in the ancient Egypt. If you go to a party together, you need to master the art of letting your Scorpio go and reeling him in. Scorpios generally feel a bit on edge in a social situation with a partner, as they can see too much danger in flirtatious situations.
