Depending on its use, your home office should be either close to the front door or in a secluded area of your home. If you receive clients or customers, the best place for your office is close to the front door. Because a home-based business that receives clients and customers, or traffic, is yang by nature, it should be located in the most yang area of your home, namely, in a front room. Also, a home-based business that receives clients should be kept completely separate from the more private areas of your home.
