Feng Shui in Positioning Home Office

Depending on its use, your home office should be either close to the front door or in a secluded area of your home. If you receive clients or customers, the best place for your office is close to the front door. Because a home-based business that receives clients and customers, or traffic, is yang by nature, it should be located in the most yang area of your home, namely, in a front room. Also, a home-based business that receives clients should be kept completely separate from the more private areas of your home. If your work requires quiet concentration—if you are a writer, artist, or researcher—your office should be in a secluded area of your home. Read the rest of this entry »

Feng Shui in Designing and Renovating for Successful Business continue…

Overall Arrangement

The most important points to consider in arranging the workplace are the position of the main office, or CEO’s office, and the ease of movement of personnel and operations. Once the location of the main office is determined, it will be relatively simple to figure out where everything else should go.

Short of considering compass directions, the ideal locations for the CEO’s office are at the power and money points of the overall space. Read the rest of this entry »

Feng Shui in Designing and Renovating for Successful Business

This post is addressed to architects, designers, and CEOs who are plan_ fling an office space for an entire company. If you are designing or redesigning a workplace, aim for comfort of movement and simplicity of form. Think of the space as a suit of clothes that either fits, letting people breathe and move comfortably, or doesn’t. Clean, straight lines always promote ease of thought and smooth activity. Geometric patterns in either overall layout or decor embody chi; they are like codes. Some patterns promote movement and positive growth, while others promote stagnation and decay. Natal and Progressed Chart, How to Find Your Way through the Interpretation Maze continue…

  1. Venus: As per Pluto. Venus transits last for up to a month, but take note of those times when Venus is retrograde, because this can lengthen and intensify its effects.
  2. Mercury: As per Pluto. Mercury’s transits last for a couple of weeks; however, watch out for retrograde times.
  3. Chiron: This planetoid has an eccentric orbit, but it usually spends a couple of years in a sign. Its transits can therefore last for several months, especially when it turns retrograde and back again.
  4. The nodes of the Moon: These take about a year or so to work through each sign, and their effect can last for a few months when aspecting a particularly sensitive spot.
  5. The Moon: The Moon takes two and a half days to work through each sign, so its transits are very short lived. However a new Moon, a full Moon and especially an eclipse will have a powerful effect on anything that it aspects. An eclipse which conjuncts a subject’s Sun, Moon or ascendant is bound to be strongly felt.

Solar and Lunar Returns

Solar returns

Solar returns are also sometimes known as solar return directions, and they are a form of transit, so they can be read in much the same way as any other list of transits. I think these are easiest to interpret when they are read as a stand-alone chart, rather than being put against a natal chart. Please try both methods for yourself before you make up your mind.

A solar return is arrived at by taking the Sun back to the exact spot that it occupied at the time of a subject’s birth. This usually happens on the subject’s birthday but it can occur a day before or afterwards. In plain English, it shows where the planets actually are in the sky at the time of the Sun’s return, and this is, of course, a picture of the transits at the moment that the Sun returns to its natal position. Astrology, the Planetary Movements in Detail (Jupiter, Saturn)

Jupiter

Jupiter takes 12 years to make its return. If you understand natal charting, when trying to interpret this return you will need to take into account the sign and the house that natal Jupiter occupies as well as any planets that aspect Jupiter natally.

If you don’t understand natal charting, then just remember that Jupiter is a bit of a double-edged sword. As you begin to read and learn about astrology, you will soon come to see Jupiter as ‘the great benefic’, or the planet that, along with Venus, bestows all kinds of good things upon its subjects. Lunar Aspects and Affects, see the Sky and what’s the moon telling (challenging aspect to Neptune, Pluto, Chiron, nodes, ascendant, midheaven)

Moon in challenging aspect to Neptune

Neptune being the vague planet that it is, this is a hard one to analyse. You may feel as though your life is on a kind roller- coaster, with the chief victim being your own emotions. The past could come back to haunt you in some way and you may have to face up to some pretty awful memories or feelings that have been buried for years. You will become oversensitive and terribly vulnerable, and if you are daft enough to fall in love at this time it could turn out to be a painful experience. However, with Neptune it is your unconscious and your dream life rather than anything really practical that is most likely to be attacked. This means that you may be able to live your life on the surface without making any real changes, while inside chaos reigns. Guard against deception in financial and business dealings and, if possible, leave any important decisions until well after this progression has passed. Artistic and creative ventures will be especially badly affected by this, so leave them alone. Read the rest of this entry »

Lunar Aspects and Affects, see the Sky and what’s the moon telling(happy aspect to Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Chiron) nodes, ascendant, midheaven

Uranus always brings the unexpected but at least the surprises should be pleasant ones. You will make new friends and you could also join a group or an organization that looks like being fun. Any business that concerns food, women’s interests or domestic matters will go well. You may be a bit overemotional and overexcited at times, but so what? Enjoy it! Read the rest of this entry »

Lunar Aspects and Affects, see the Sky and what’s the moon telling (happy aspect to Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn)

When doing day-for-a-year progressions, these lunar aspects assume a terrific importance. In fact, coupled with transits, this is probably the most accurate and interesting form of predictive astrology that there is. Each progression will last for about a month but it can have a tremendous and lasting impact on your life. Lunar aspects are the triggers of your life, setting off trains of events that are fascinating to watch and to live through.

Moon in happy aspect to natal Moon

This would be a good time to change your address or to invest in property. Family matters will go well, as will anything that involves women or women’s interests. You may be emotional and rather restless at this time, so take a journey or two, because travel is well aspected now. Read the rest of this entry »
