This usually results in a fairly square arrangement with side tables making up the diagonal edges. This arrangement is auspicious and allows specific energizing of the eight different locations around the arrangement that make up each of the compass directions. Also, the arrangement will appear balanced and in harmony. There will be a square arrangement outside that complements the round table in the center, thereby simulating the union of heaven and earth.
